Treo 800w spec sheets and training materials reveal details, lack of MMS

We're not sure where our tipster got these pictures (nor are we going to ask), but they appear to be screens from the Treo 800w's specification and knowledge training documentation. New tidbits include a 333 Mhz processor, 4.4.1 x 2.28 x 0.73-inch dimensions, 320 x 320 pixel screen, and a weight of 4.94 ounces. Windows Mobile 6.1 looks to be in full-force, the camera shoots at 2 MP, and the USB port is 2.0. As for other revealed features, you're looking at threaded SMS chat, but MMS is mysteriously missing in lieu of Sprint Picture Mail, a trend that continues to confuse us. Bucket-based hydroelectric generator powers up small gadgets

T-Mobile plant für Geschäftskunden eine eigene kostenpflichtige VPN-Lösung, erklärte das Unternehmen. iPhone 3G: Tarife in weiteren Teilen der Erde angekündigt
Nachdem schon einige unserer Nachbarländer ihre Tarife für das iPhone 3G offenlegten, folgen allmählich weitere Länder der Erde, in denen das Gerät am 11. Juli startet. Neben dem hauseigenen Chatprogramm iChat finden sich bei zahlreichen Mac-Nutzern noch einige weitere Applikationen für Sofortnachrichten im Dock. Verhandlungen über iPhone in China kurz vor Abschluss
Noch während Apples Entwicklerkonferenz im Juni verkündete Steve Jobs, das iPhone auch in China noch in diesem Jahr auf dem Markt zu bringen. Nach intensiven Verhandlungen könnte es nun bald soweit sein - der riesige Markt scheint für das iPhone in greifbarer Nähe. Robotic Copycat Arm promises to taunt you with ease

Developed by a group of researchers at the University of Tsukub, it makes use of a high-speed camera to monitor a person's movements, which are apparently instantly (and creepily) mimicked by the robot arm.Eventually, the researchers say the same system could be used as a computer interface, which they say could eliminate the need for a mouse and keyboard. AT&T moves HQ to Dallas from San Antonio

How would you change Microsoft if you were Bill Gates?

Being that it is Bill's special day and all, we figured we'd give you a shot at stepping into his shoes and shaping Microsoft into something even more dominant that the juggernaut it is. Just imagine taking a seat in the biggest corner office Redmond has to offer, getting your Outlook set up, fiddling through a mess of old floppy discs and finally conjuring up a business plan. How in the world would you tweak / overhaul / etc. Microsoft if you were suddenly dubbed the big kahuna? We know this one's wide (and we mean gaping wide) open, so feel free to write a book down there.

News: Verizon CEO: Suggestion of iPhone success a ‘conspiracy’

HP fax machines recalled, could turn resume into flames

Hey you. Yeah, you. You're about to beam that resume facsimile-style to a prospective employer, aren't you? If said machine is a Hewlett-Packard Fax 1010 or 1010xi, we're recommend firing (ahem) it over through email instead. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with HP, has issued a voluntary recall for the aforementioned fax machines after receiving three reports of "overheating," two of which resulted in "minor property damage."
