JooJoo tablet gets Mac OS X hack
A creative user of the JooJoo tablet has successfully installed Mac OS X onto his device and shared his accomplishment on the JooJoo forum. The tablet is compatible with Snow Leopard as it's powered by an Intel Atom processor. The user, HighJinx, does admit there are still issues to work out with the install, including touchscreen panel drivers and further trimming of the OS to leave room for other software, considering the JooJoo's limited 4GB of space.

Briefly: Remote HD Apple TV hack, Ableton Music Challenge
Remote HD has announced the release of a new Apple TV plugin that lets users control the set-top with an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. In order to install the software users must first unlock their Apple TV and use an SSH client to transfer required files. After successfully installing Remote Helper, any Apple handheld running the full version of Remote HD can be used to control an Apple TV wirelessly. OCZ rolls fast 1.8-inch SSDs for ultraportables
OCZ finished its week with its first 1.8-inch solid-state drives. Together, the Onyx and Vertex 2 are built for upgrading ultraportables, netbooks and other computers that could use extra speed but won't fit a 2.5-inch SSD. Both attach through SATA or SATA II and often preserve the same performance as their earlier, bigger siblings.

Panasonic GF1 gets 1080p video recording via firmware hack
By utilizing the same groundwork of this DMC-GH1 hack, a group of crafty coders have devised a way to allow for all sorts of funky tweaks to the beloved Lumix GF1 -- most notably, 1080p video recording. Besides the full HD recording, using a reworked version of the camera's firmware, the micro four thirds shooter has had its video recording bit rates upped, added 4.2.2 color sampling, and looks like it could be getting full manual control and 24p/25p shooting options down the road. Some users are already maximizing their camera's abilities with the hacks, though based on reading we've done in the DVXuser forums, the firmware changes don't seem completely ready for primetime. Kurzweil claims Apple had to 'jerry-rig' books for iPad
Futurist and Blio founder Ray Kurzweil today criticized Apple for doing nothing to help e-books with the iPad. He insists that most e-reader devices and apps, including Apple's, "destroy" any complex formatting and discourages complex text layouts, such as for children's books or textbooks. ePub books like those in the iBookstore may scare away publishers and may have forced Apple to play with text to get an acceptable look.

Prognose: Tablet-PCs überflügeln Netbooks

AT&T upgrading trouble spots reported by iPhone app users
AT&T is letting iPhone users know that it's taking action on their efforts to report trouble spots. Those who reported dropped calls, bad data reception or poor voice quality during calls and reported their locations at the time using the Mark the Spot app are being notified that network capacity will soon be boosted in the affected areas.

Apple asks FCC for broad secrecy on iPhone 4 documents
On June 4th, shortly before the announcement of the iPhone 4, Apple sent a letter to the Federal Communications Commission requesting confidentiality on a broad range of certification documents, reports say. These included photos of the device, as well as diagrams, schematics and bills of materials. "Although Apple has begun to market the device publicly, these documents reveal technical and design information that has not been publicly disclosed," the letter reads.

Navigon shows off new release for iPhone with multitasking compatibility
Of the app categories to benefit most from iOS 4's new multitasking features, turn-by-turn navigation is certainly pretty high on the list -- after all, no one wants their route to be interrupted by a phone call mere moments before a critical intersection or exit ramp. Navigon has just posted a video showing off the multitasking compatibility in the upcoming 1.6 release of its iPhone app, and it's pretty neat -- you can switch out of the app and come back to the exact same place where you left off, of course, but it'll also continue to play voice guidance during phone calls (hopefully, you can turn that off if you find it annoying). Nintendo 3DS game cart pictured, wireless ebook reader on tap?
It was easy to get lost amidst all the attention surrounding the 3DS itself, but Nintendo also had an actual 3DS game cart on hand at E3 and, well, it looks pretty much like a regular DS cart (probably a good thing, since the two are compatible). News: Report: Apple’s share of U.S. mobile ad requests declines

Google replaces hints of Chrome OS hardware from Acer, Dell, and HP with even better hints
As you may recall from a few days ago, Google offered some of the clearest evidence of Chrome OS hardware from major manufacturers yet by letting some build configurations for Acer, Dell, and HP slip out into its public code repository. Now, that wasn't too surprising considering that each of the companies have already made their Chrome OS intentions pretty clear, but Google seems to have done a bit of backtracking nonetheless. Counter-Strike: Source to reach Macs next week
A Mac version of Counter-Strike: Source should be available through Steam next week, developer Valve says. The company has generally committed to releasing new Mac games once a week, but missed this week as a result of having to present at E3 in Los Angeles. There the company showed early gameplay footage of Portal 2, due to come to the PC, Mac, PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2011.

Motorola's split plan calls for a debt-free, cash-heavy mobile unit
Moto's composed of a number of fairly distinct divisions that produce vastly different kinds of hardware for different industries; some are cash cows, others -- namely the handset and set-top box units -- aren't. FCC to convert 90MHz more spectrum to cellular data
The FCC on Friday outlined a strategy to switch 90MHz of wireless spectrum over to cellular Internet access. Spectrum Task Force members at the FCC hope to take up a portion of the mobile satellite service band that had largely gone unused. Flipping the space should provide more bandwidth without cutting into mobile satellite use across the country.

iPhone 4's Retina Display triggering shortages?
Apple's growing shortages for the iPhone 4 before launch may have been sparked by the unique 960x640 Retina Display at its heart. Rodman and Renshaw analyst Ashok Kumar claims that supply checks have Apple cutting its monthly iPhone 4 production in half to two million units due to LG Display's inability to make enough LCDs in time. There's a "non trivial risk" that demand for the legacy iPhone 3GS could trail off in the summer quarter before the iPhone 4's production is in full swing, Kumar said.

Filed under: iPhoneNow that iPhone pre-orders have concluded, many people have been left frustrated by the technical issues that both Apple and AT&T experienced on the 15th. Authorized retailers like Best Buy and Radio Shack also sold their stock within a day or so.
With technical difficulties that hindered many would-be customers, we're curious to see who was successful and through which provider. If you did pre-order an iPhone 4, take our informal poll to let us know who it was with.

Although we had a chance to play with the new Xbox 360 at E3, that was under Microsoft's gentle supervision -- now that the stealthbox is hitting stores and we've got a couple of our own to play with, we're ready to dive deep and figure out what's what. Apple aktualisiert Liste schädlicher Downloads in Snow Leopard
Wie Anti-Viren-Spezialist Sophos in seinem Blog berichtet, hat Apple mit der neusten Aktualisierung von Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard auch die Malware-Liste "XProtect.plist" erweitert. O2 UK limits iPhone 4 orders to existing customers
Only existing O2 customers will be able to buy the iPhone 4 in the immediate future, the UK carrier has announced. In a surprise move, O2 says it is barring new iPhone 4 subscribers from today through July 31st. Before August 1st, buyers will have to already have phone service with O2, or be a broadband customer looking to get their first O2 handset. The cutoff point for status as a prior customer is May 24th.

NVIDIA GF104 may take over all GeForce 400 chips
NVIDIA's upcoming GF104 architecture, once targeted at just the mainstream, could soon take over virtually all of the company's GeForce graphics chipsets. The GTX 460 and now GTS 455 were the primary targets, but it's now thought that every other mid-range and low-end GeForce 400 card will use the same architecture, which uses about 25 percent less power and should work better for low-end hardware.

HTC Aria slipping out early into AT&T stores

WWDC 2010: Server Admin Remote and Workgroup Manager Remote for iPad

One of the most technical, and yet powerful, apps I saw at WWDC last week was Server Admin Remote, an iPhone and iPad app designed by three guys in Germany calling themselves Harlekins. The app is modeled after Apple's own Server Admin tool for Mac OS X server, and basically allows for complete server administration right on the iPad or iPhone. All three developers from Harlekins are IT guys on their own, so they say that they've designed "a tool for IT staff, by IT staff."

Navigon-Video: Ausblick auf iOS 4 Multitasking
Die Möglichkeit, zukünftig eine Applikation gezielt im Hintergrund weiterlaufen zu lassen, während man mit dem iPhone telefoniert oder beispielsweise im Web surft – nicht revolutionär, aber sehr praktisch. Orange begins HD Voice trial in Southern England, leaves out Buckingham Palace
Remember the good news that Orange brought to the UK on our alcohol-fueled New Year's Eve? We thought so. Anyway, it looks like said fruit company's still on course to "a new era for UK mobile communications" as it launches HD Voice trial in England today. Motorola Milestone XT720 soll im Juli in den Handel kommen
Motorola hat offiziell das Android-Smartphone Milestone XT720 vorgestellt. Das Gerät ist mit einem 3,7 Zoll großen LC-Display ausgestattet. Damit ist die Anzeige so groß wie die OLED-Displays von Google Nexus One und HTC Desire, löst mit 480 mal 854 Pixel aber etwas höher auf. Das Gerät ist 10,9 Millimeter dick, wiegt 160 Gramm und soll im Juli für knapp 500 Euro ohne Vertrag in den Handel kommen.

Working iPhone 4 slips out, produces camera samples
The iPhone 4 has landed in the hands of a Czech who has managed a test of the phone and its camera, including HD video. Swenak explained that the phone feels good in the hand, isn't prone to slipping, and is relatively fast both in wide use and in getting a GPS lock-on. His only misgivings expressed to Jablíčkář are around the plastic frame between the metal and the glass, which he believed could get minor scratches over time.

Canadian iPhone 4 delayed?
The iPhone 4 could miss its intended release date in Canada, a change at the Canadian Apple Store suggests. The device was previously scheduled to ship to the country in "July," already a delay past the US release date. The iPhone 3G and 3GS, which premiered in the US in July 2008 and June 2009, respectively, each launched simultaneously in Canada.

Olympus cranks out two point and shoots: X560 WP and T100
Olympus has two new cams in the pipeline according to Let's Go Digital. The waterproof Olympus X560 WP boasts a 10 megapixel sensor, 3x optical zoom, face detection, a high ISO sensitivity, 18 shooting modes and digital image stabilization. The T100, meanwhile, is a starter camera that's apparently aimed at teens, and it's got a 12 megapixel sensor, 3x optical zoom, and face detection. It also shoots VGA video. Facebook erzielt 2009 über 700 Millionen Dollar Umsatz
Facebook hat im vergangenen Jahr einen Umsatz von 700 bis 800 Millionen Dollar erwirtschaftet. Das meldet die Nachrichtenagentur Reuters unter Berufung auf informierte Kreise. New Mac mini has SDXC card slot
Discoveries today have proven that the redesigned Mac mini is the first Mac with an SDXC card slot. Visiting the slot in Disk Utility with an SD card inside shows an "Apple SDXC Reader" and thus that it has more room than other Macs limited to SDHC. The slot gives headroom for cards from 64GB through to 2TB in size and uses faster transfer speeds of up to 104MB per second on most of the still-early readers.

Rumor: Microsoft may have sold just 500 Kin phones
One tentative rumor today claimed that Microsoft has only sold about 500 Kin One and Two phones through Verizon since they went on sale in May. The SAI source didn't provide many details but implied that less than one phone had been sold per store. Verizon hasn't commented on the story but typically doesn't give out unit sales counts.

Mac OS X 10.6.4 includes 'secret' malware protection update
Apple has very quietly improved malware protection with Tuesday's Mac OS X 10.6.4 update, says a senior technology consultant at security firm Sophos. Examining an updated XProtect.plist file, the consultant notes that the code detects "HellRTS," a Trojan threat also known as OSX/Pinhead-B. The malware masquerades as a copy of iPhoto, and can potentially be used to force a Mac to send spam, take screenshots or share files.

Rayqual adapters bring Leica, Nikon, and Canon lenses to Sony's NEX cameras
Sony's new NEX-3 and NEX-5 cameras may have a few limitations when it comes to their UI, but it looks like they won't be hurting for lens options -- Japan's Rayqual has announced that it'll be offering a series of lens adapters for the cameras starting next month. Those will let you attach any number of Leica, Nikon or Canon lenses to the compact shooter, although you'll expectedly have to make do without autofocus if you decide to venture beyond Sony's own lenses for the cameras. Adobe hasn't given any signs that it's close to porting Flash to webOS, Palm said in an AT&T online app development seminar on Thursday. If your iPhone or iPad goes missing, you can install the app on any other iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and log in with your MobileMe credentials (a MobileMe account is required) to find it. Once located, the app places its location on a map. From there you can display a message on the iPhone or iPad's screen, have it play a sound (even if silenced), remote lock it or even wipe it clean.

Casio's XJ-A series projectors wowed us in January with an ultra-slim 43mm design, but at E3 2010 we got the chance to see whether image quality was equally bright -- the watchmaker was there with some economical models to attract the portable gaming crowd. Grafiktreiber ATI Catalyst 10.6 unterstützt GPU-Beschleunigung von Flash-HD-Videos
AMD hat Version 10.6 seiner Grafiktreiber ATI Catalyst für Windows und Linux freigegeben. Das Update behebt zahlreiche Fehler, die AMD in den Release Notes (PDF) zusammenfasst. Zudem unterstützt der Treiber die GPU-beschleunigte Wiedergabe von Flash-HD-Videos nach dem H.264-Standard. Neu ist ebenfalls der Support für OpenGL 4.0. Hierfür ist allerdings eine Grafikkarte der 5000er-Serie Voraussetzung. Alle anderen Radeon-HD-Chips sind lediglich zu OpenGL 3.3 kompatibel.

iPad shipments reach 1.2 million a month, Samsung chips in
Shipments of iPads have already accelerated to 1.2 million every month and have reached the point where Apple needs production help, tips from the industry clued on Friday. Apple had launched the iPad making 700,000 of the tablets per month but has had to boost production by more than two thirds to keep up with demand. Aus Fehlern lernen: Apple launcht "Find my iPhone" App

Als wäre das iPhone4 Desaster im Bierhaus prägend gewesen, hat Apple nun die "Find My iPhone"-App gelauncht. Das was den Mitarbeitern passiert, könnte so den Kunden erspart bleiben. Zwar ist das auf das Mobile Me-Webinterface limitert, will aber das verlorene oder geklaute iPhone, iPad oder iPod touch schnell lokalisieren und ausfindig machen, oder alle davon. Der Beklaute kann so entweder das Gerät blockieren oder Daten vom Gerät löschen. Ab iOS 3.1.3 kann das Ganze installiert werden und ist jetzt für umsonst erhältlich.

Apple's MobileMe Mail gets a refresh
You still using (and paying $99 a year) MobileMe? So you haven't been lured away by Google's free offerings then? Ok, then you'll probably notice that MobileMe looks a bit different today. Pictured above is the new MobileMe application switcher (pictured) that now requires two clicks to do what previously took one (i.e., switch MobileMe applications). Looks pretty though. Mail is the biggest change with new widescreen (pictured above) and compact views, rules, single-click archiving, a formatting toolbar, and SSL all introduced in the beta last month. Huzzah?

Die neuen Funktionen von MobileMe
Nachdem Apple die Wartungsarbeiten an MobileMe abgeschlossen hat, findet man einige Neuerungen. So wurde die aus der Beta bekannte Mail-Oberfläche eingeführt, ein App-Switcher kann nun anstelle der bekannten Leiste via Klick auf die Wolke aufgerufen werden und die "Find my iPhone"-Funktion wurde optisch runderneuert. Zudem neu ist die "Find my iPhone"-App*, welche ab sofort kostenlos auf iPhone, iPod touch und iPad geladen werden kann.

Updates & Neues: App Store Spielemix
Früher hatte man sowas im Pappkarton im Schrank, heute in der Hosentasche: Ubisoft hat mit der Classic Games Collection (3,99 Euro) ein Paket mit insgesamt 20 Brett- und Kartenspielen, die sich teilweise auch mit mehreren Spielern spielen lassen, in den App Store gebracht.
Schade nur: Eigentlich wäre das iPad ja wie geschaffen für eine derartige Anwendung, bislang werden hier jedoch nur die Grafiken der iPod- und iPhone-Version mit den bekannten Qualitätseinbußen hochskaliert.
Besser macht es da Peter Heinlein mit seiner Skat-App: Schon lange in einer Version für den iPod touch und das iPhone (3,99 Euro) verfügbar, gibt es das Programm jetzt auch als HD-Version fürs iPad (4,99 Euro). Noch schöner wäre natürlich ein Upgrade zur Universal-Version gewesen

Eine ganze Flotte von Robotern bekommt das Foerth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert, Stirlingshire. Die sollen Essen austragen, Müll entsorgen, OPs putzen und Medikamente verteilen. Dafür dass sie aussehen wie Gabelstapler eine Menge. Billige Arbeitskräfte mag man denken, aber die bekommen sogar einen eigenen Keller dafür. Das Vertrauen in die Funktionalität der Roboter ist obendrein nicht mal so groß, dass man nicht trotzdem immer noch eine Person "on call" hätte, die den Roboter notfalls, bei Roboterschnupfen z.B., ersetzen könnte. Apple launches 'Find My iPhone' app to remotely wipe and find your lost treasure
Stay with us here because this one isn't obvious. Apple just launched its Find My iPhone app on the iTunes App Store. The App will find your iPhone or iPad or iPod touch should it be lost or stolen. So obviously, you don't install it on your lost/stolen device, you install it on a different iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, yours or somebody else's. Panicked owners can then login with their MobileMe account to map their missing property and then remotely lock the device or wipe the data. The App can only be installed on iOS 3.1.3 or later devices and is available now for free.

Apple veröffentlicht MobileMe-Update und "Find My iPhone"-App
Apple hat dem hauseigenen Webservice MobileMe ein dickes Update verpasst. Die Benutzeroberfläche wurde komplett überarbeitet und kommt nun ausgesprochen ansehlich und übersichtlich strukturiert daher. Zwischen den einzelnen MobileMe-Anwendungen (Mail, Kontakte, Kalender, Galerie, iDisk und Find My iPhone) wechselt man nun über einen "App-Switcher", der per Mausklick auf das MobileMe-Symbol oben links aufgerufen wird.
Der Zugriff vom iPhone, iPod touch oder iPad aus erfolgt statt über den Webbrowser durchweg über separate Apps. Standard sind hier neben den vorinstallierten Anwendungen Mail, Kontakte und Kalender die bereits längere Zeit erhältlichen kostenlosen Apple-Apps Galerie und iDisk. Forrester: Tablets verkaufen sich in zwei Jahren besser als Netbooks
Tablets sollen schon 2012 höhere Verkaufszahlen erreichen als Netbooks. Das erwartet zumindest das Marktforschungsunternehmen Forrester Research, das in einer Studie die Entwicklung des US-amerikanischen PC-Markts bis zum Jahr 2015 beleuchtet. Demnach werden Hersteller 2015 voraussichtlich 20,4 Millionen Tablets verkaufen, im Vergleich zu 3,5 Millionen Stück in diesem Jahr. Das entspricht einer durchschnittlichen jährlichen Wachstumsrate von 42 Prozent. Bis 2015 sollen Tablets einen Anteil von 23 Prozent an allen PC-Verkäufen ausmachen.

Apple aktualisiert MobileMe
Seit wenigen Minuten ist der Web Zugang von Apple’s MobileMe nach dem gestern angekündigten Wartungsfenster mit einem Update wieder zugänglich.
Neben einem optischen Facelift der Webapps Mail, iCal und Contacts ist auch die Funktion «Find my iPhone» erneuert worden. iPads und iPhones werden neu in einer grösseren Karte dargestellt und können direkt aus dem Google Maps Overlay gesteuert werden.
Glaubt man ausserdem den Gerüchten von macrumors.com, soll in den nächsten Tagen ausserdem eine Universal App fürs iPhone und den iPad erscheinen, welche den Zugriff auf die «Find my iPhone» Funktion unterwegs ohne Web Zugriff und mit mehr Komfort ermöglichen soll. Mit dem neuen Release von MobileMe hat Apple weiter die bevorstehende Veröffentlichung von iOS 4 vorbereitet. Nachdem seit der ersten Beta von damals noch iPhone OS 4 erschienen ist, konnte man das eigene iPhone über «Find my iPhone» nicht mehr verfolgen, was seit neustem wieder möglich ist.

Es ist noch eine nicht ganz Bestätigtes, aber doch halbwegs zuverlässiges Gerücht: Das neue iPhone, das ja mit dem gleichen Prozessor arbeitet wie das iPad, dem A4, soll laut MacRumors und ein paar anderen Quellen mit ansehnlichen 512MB RAM ausgestattet sein. Kin skin for Windows Mobile 6.5 leads to more questions than answers
How would we like to replace the UI on our Windows Mobile 6.5 phone with the Kin UI? Well, we never really though about it, we suppose and frankly, we're not sure why anyone else did, either. Alas, KinLauncher is here, delivering a pretty authentic Kin-esque home screen but not much else -- as soon as you touch anything, you'll be dumped back into the cold comfort of WinMo (or Sense, as the case may be). Windows Embedded Handheld: Microsoft hat noch ein neues mobiles Betriebssystem

Wir warten zwar lieber auf Windows Phone 7, aber in der Zwischenzeit vergnügt sich Microsoft mit etwas mehr OS-Verwirrung. Windows Embedded Handheld ist scheinbar ein überarbeitetes WinMo 6.5.3 das sich speziell an Firmen wendet, denen Kins und all der Socialmediakram ein wenig zu flashig sind. Mit dem Motorola ES400 gibt es auch gleich ein erstes Handy, dass mit einem 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7627 Prozessor, resistivem VGA Touchscreen, Fingerabdruckscanner und 3,5G dennoch Eindruck schinden will. Scheint so als wollten Motorola und Windows etwas gegen die RIM-Übermacht in diesem Sektor tun, aber ob es funktionieren wird, bleibt abzuwarten.

Der Apple A4-Prozessor: Zweifelhafte Verwandtschaft mit Samsung-Chip

HP casts doubt on future of Windows 7 slate
HP at the Untethered conference today gave reason to believe it's reconsidering its release of the Windows 7 slate. The company's Personal Systems Group CTO Phil McKinney said that using an existing OS for a new design like a tablet is frequently negative but simultaneously talked up the virtues of webOS. Despite the Windows slate being the primary focus of the company's tablet efforts, no mention was made during the presentation.

HTC slaps phone firmware site with cease and desist letter
You might be familiar with firmware impresario Conflipper by now, a man who's earned a reputation tearing apart ROMs -- often for unreleased devices -- and pulling out the juicy bits for everyone to see. Turns out the dude runs a site called Shipped ROMs with yes, you guessed it, a bunch of shipped ROMs for a wide variety of phones on it, and it seems HTC's legal cats in Taiwan have taken issue, saying they've got "very strong reasons to believe that the HTC Intellectual Property was illegally obtained by fraudulent means" in a strongly-worded cease and desist letter sent to him earlier today. We reached out to HTC's US branch for comment and got back the following:

Nikon working on camera with external projector
Nikon is working on a replacement for its Coolpix S1000pj camera that has a built-in projector, according to a report in a recent issue of the French magazine Chasseur díImages. Unlike the current camera, however, the new one will have the ability to be connected to a computer and display images like a conventional, standalone projector. Interesting post by our friend Harry McCracken at Technologizer today, pointing out that HP's gone dead silent about the Slate ever since it announced plans to acquire Palm. Harry was at The Big Money's Untethered conference today, and HP CTO Phil McKinney was on stage, where he "talked about the downsides of using existing operating systems for new types of devices" and "extolled the virtues of webOS." Interesting topic, since the Slate very prominently ran Windows 7. Valve says Apple, NVIDIA and ATI are working to improve Mac gaming performance
We've already seen some evidence that Macs running Steam are generally more powerful than PCs running Steam, and it looks like Apple is busily working to make sure that all potential performance is put to good use. As Valve's Rob Barris has confirmed on the company's forums, Apple, ATI and NVIDIA are all "involved" in improving Mac gaming performance, and that "performance is going to improve as drivers are updated." Apple to launch new Find My Phone app, MobileMe updates
Apple's MobileMe site is reporting that the system will undergo scheduled maintenance from 10PM PDT to Midnight tonight, Thursday June 17. A scheduled maintenance update for MobileMe this evening may bring about a series of upgrades timed to coincide with the launch of the iPhone 4 next week. The online service's beta webmail implementation is now expected to become official and to add push delivery at the same time. Rumor: Apple considering HD radio in future devices

Sure, the Desire's coming to a handful of regional American carriers later this year, but what if you want the smaller, sleeker, more aluminum-clad Legend? Briefly: TransGaming adds new Mac titles, SwamiCity updates
At this week's E3 event in Los Angeles, TransGaming has announced that it is redesigning its Mac distribution portal, GameTreeOnline.com, and releasing several new Mac games. Two new Disney titles -- Toy Story 3 and Disney Princess: Enchanted Journey -- are now available, and Her Interactive's first Nancy Drew title for the Mac will launch on June 29th. TransGaming will additionally be launching two new MMOs, League of Legends and LEGO Universe, in the near future.

Microsoft sees Windows Phone 7 as a 1.0 release
An in-depth look at Microsoft's development has revealed that the lead of Windows Phone 7 considers the mobile OS a total remake. Development head Terry Myerson labeled the major design as a "first release" and confirmed that Microsoft had virtually gutted Windows Mobile 7's graphics and interface in early 2009 to start new. The decision was "top down" and meant willingly cutting previous features, like copy-and-paste or mutlitasking, to make sure the OS arrived both on time and at the level of quality Microsoft wanted.
