Apple on Sunday posted its second TV ad (below) in as many weeks for the iPhone 4S. The new spot follows the same tone as the first, where Apple shows situations where Siri's natural-language intelligence comes into play. iPad 2 + iPad 2 + fake blood = awesome "hole in torso" costume

We'll have more costumes today and tomorrow, but this one was too good to not share right now. YouTube user onemeeeliondollars has posted video of a costume he apparently made with two iPad 2s that makes it look like you can see clean through his torso. As he says in the video below, you just cut two holes in a shirt (that's how you make every great Halloween costume -- just ask Charlie Brown), put a little fake blood around them, and then strap two iPad 2s to yourself (they have to be iPad 2s, of course, for the camera).

Viele Nutzer älterer iOS-Geräte waren sehr enttäuscht, nachdem bekannt wurde, dass Apple Siri nicht auf Produkten anbieten wird, die älter als das iPhone 4S sind. Facebook testet gerade ein neues Feature zur Passwortrettung namens "Trusted Friends", das die Passwort-Rettung via Facebook-Freunde ermöglichen soll. Sollte man also in die Passwort-Bredouille kommen lassen sich drei bis fünf Facebook-Freunde zu "Trusted Friends" machen, über die Facebook einem dann Bestandteile des neuen Passworts zukommen lässt. Facebook vergleicht das Verfahren damit, Freunden einen Haustürschlüssel zu geben, wenn man im Urlaub ist. Mobile app writer Steve Troughton-Smith and Cydia developer Grant Paul early Sunday successfully created a fully functional implementation of Siri working on both the iPhone 4 and the fourth-generation iPod touch. Siri hacked to work on jailbroken iPhone 4 and iPod touch

iPhone experts Steven Troughton Smith and chpwn seem to have just gotten the iPhone 4S-only Siri working on jailbroken iPhone 4 and current-gen iPod touch units this evening. This bypasses earlier authentication issues. They tweeted their success and posted a screen shot showing Siri working via Wi-Fi (the Airplane Mode icon just means that 3G is turned off, but it is possible to turn Wi-Fi back on even in AM; that's what they did.) Chinese MacBook Air clone very close outside, uses new Atom

One of the many clone developers in the Shenzhen area of southern China, Shenzhen Technology, has produced a MacBook Air clone that may draw extra fire from Apple. Where most clones are conspicuously different on the outside, the unnamed 13-inch system spotted by Shanzhaiben is much closer to Apple's actual design and actually slightly smaller and lighter. Rather than use Intel's low-voltage Core i5, though, it's using the as yet unreleased 1.86GHz Atom N2800 based on the Cedar Trail platform, making it closer to a netbook.

HP refutes rumors of webOS shutdown: 'phenomenal talent'

HP's Personal Systems Group head Todd Bradley in an interview (auto-playing video below) shot down rumors the company would end its webOS division entirely.
