Apple said testing Android-style iOS pattern unlocks

Apple may be looking to implement a more complex and possibly more secure pattern-based unlock on iOS devices in the near future. Verizon CEO: iPhone 4 sales strong, more coming from Apple on LTE

In a recent interview, Verizon Wireless CEO Dan Mead rebutted recent reports suggesting Verizon iPhone sales were low by confirming the wireless carrier sold more iPhone 4s during its initial launch than any other product in the carrier's history. Nexus S 2.3.3 update adjusts screen's color temperature, we go eyes-on

We've been hearing reports about Nexus S' Android 2.3.3 update adding a yellow tint to the screen and even washing out its colors, but according to Google's Ry Guy, said patch is indeed intended to tweak the display's color temperature. Mac OS X Lion adds Podcast Publisher for home users

Appleís latest developer release of Mac OS X Lion continues to reveal a slew of yet to be announced features. The latest feature has been forwarded to 9to5Mac by an anonymous developer points to the addition of a new app called Podcast Publisher. Filed under: Nintendo 3DS Bis die Nintendo 3DS bei uns in die Regale kommt, dauert es noch einen Monat, in Japan hingegen war es gestern schon soweit. Die erste Ladung von 400.000 Stück der 3D-Konsolen ging weg wie warme Semmeln. Es gab zwar Schlangen mit bis zu zweitausend Wartenden, aber das waren Ausnahmen, da bei den meisten japanischen Elektronikläden die 3DS bereits vor einem Monat via Vorbestellung komplett weggingen. Lion slips in Yahoo Messenger AV chat

Another finding late Saturday has shown Apple expanding iChat AV to Yahoo Messenger. Marck Unkow has found that users can now sign into Yahoo for both audio and video conversations, much as they could with AIM in the past. Nintendo 3DS launches in Japan, populace tears through initial 400,000 unit shipment

More Lion: Front Row, PowerPC axed

More discoveries in Mac OS X Lion have shown Apple is cutting out two of its older implementations. The developer preview no longer has Front Row, Apple's early answer to Windows Media Center.
