Beats today announced a new collection of cases for the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The Beats iPhone 17 Case with MagSafe & Camera Control is designed to be thin and light. It is available for the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The Beats iPhone 17 Kickstand Case with MagSafe & Camera Control comes with a removable lanyard that doubles as a kickstand for hands-free landscape viewing. To form the kickstand, an adapter at the end of the lanyard slides open and attaches to a magnetic point on the side of the case. It is available for iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Apple Lists iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro Battery Capacities
Apple has confirmed the battery capacities for the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max models that were announced earlier today.
Apple is required to publish energy labels on its iPhone product pages in the EU, and they reveal the official mAh battery capacities for the devices.
Here are the battery capacities for each model, according to Apple:
iPhone 17: 3,692 mAh (+3.7% over iPhone 16)
iPhone Air: 3,149 mAh
iPhone 17 Pro: 4,252 mAh (+18.7% over iPhone 16 Pro)
iPhone 17 Pro Max: 5,088 mAh (+8.6% over iPhone 16 Pro Max)
These capacities match those uncovered in a regulatory database a few days ago, but it is unclear if the figures apply to the SIM or eSIM-only models.

iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Models Support 25W Qi2.2 Charging
The iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max can charge at up to 25W using the next-generation Qi2.2 chargers. Qi2.2 is an upgraded specification that matches the 25W charging speed of the updated MagSafe specification introduced last year.
Apple debuted MagSafe 2 last year, and the iPhone 16 models, iPhone 17, and iPhone 17 Pro models can charge at up to 25W over MagSafe, so now the new devices will be able to get the same charging speed with Qi2.2.
Qi2.2 charging speeds require a Qi2.2 charger, and accessory makers are starting to come out with wireless charging options that support the new standard.
The iPhone Air is limited to 20W charging over MagSafe and Qi2.2, so it is not able to reach the 25W charging speeds that other models are capable of. Hypertension Alerts Coming to Older Apple Watch Models
Apple has announced that its new hypertension detection feature, initially exclusive to the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Apple Watch Series 11, will be expanded to include earlier Apple Watch models.
The feature will be available on Apple Watch Series 9 and later, plus Apple Watch Ultra 2 and later models, with watchOS 26. FDA clearance is expected soon, with availability in over 150 countries this month.
Hypertension detection uses the optical heart sensor to analyze blood vessel responses over 30-day periods, alerting users to consistent signs of chronic high blood pressure. Hypertension affects approximately 1.3 billion adults globally and often goes undiagnosed due to lack of symptoms.
Apple says its hypertension notifications were developed using machine learning and training data from studies involving over 100,000 participants. The technology was validated in clinical trials with more than 2,000 participants. Apple expects the feature to notify over 1 million people with undiagnosed hypertension

If you are unaware, an eSIM is essentially a digital version of a SIM card. The latest iPhones do not support physical SIM cards in the above countries and regions.
Apple says eSIM-only models of these iPhones are equipped with a larger battery that fills the space formerly occupied by the physical SIM card tray.
Apple started phasing out SIM cards starting with the iPhone 14 series, in the U.S. only.

After the disaster that was FineWoven two years ago, Apple is back again with another attempt to replace its leather cases with something more environmentally friendly than leather, and more stylish and premium than its base silicone range.

AirPods Pro 3 and New Apple Watch Models Now Available for Pre-Order
The online Apple Store is now back up, and Apple has started accepting pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 11, the Apple Watch Ultra 3, the Apple Watch SE 3, and the AirPods Pro 3.
All of the new devices will be delivered to customers starting on Friday, September 19. Pre-orders for the iPhone 17 models will start on Friday, September 12.
The AirPods Pro 3 are priced at $249, and they feature updated Active Noise Cancellation, a new case and earbud design, improved audio quality, and heart rate sensing.
The Apple Watch Series 11 has 5G support, hypertension alerts and a new sleep score feature, as does the Ultra 3. Apple also added satellite connectivity to the Ultra 3, while the SE has new health-related features.

Apple Announces iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max With New Design, Larger Battery, and More
Apple today introduced the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Both devices feature a new aluminum unibody design, with the Ceramic Shield now protecting both the front and back sides.
New color options include Silver, Deep Blue, and Cosmic Orange.
A larger rear camera plateau houses three 48-megapixel cameras, and the antenna system wraps around it. The upgraded 48-megapixel Telephoto camera offers up to 8x optical zoom, up from the 5x limit on the iPhone 16 Pro models. Plus, there is now an 18-megapixel front camera with Center Stage support.
Other key features for these devices include an A19 Pro chip with a 6-core CPU and 6-core GPU, a larger battery, a vapor chamber cooling system for improved thermal management, and much more.
Apple says the iPhone 17 Pro Max offers the longest battery life of any iPhone model ever, with up to 39 hours of video playback per full charge.
