A video posted by Japanese site Macotakara purports to show a front panel for the next-generation iPhone. While the part is the same width as current iPhones, it is also notably taller, accommodating a larger screen. Netflix for iOS updated with new player UI

Netflix has updated its iOS interface to run a little more smoothly and look a little nicer while playing streaming media on both the iPhone and the iPad. You can see the iPhone version above -- there are bigger buttons more clearly laid out, and the search bar itself has "more precise seeking capabilities," presumably allowing you to find a certain point in your show or movie more easily. Microsoft confirms upgrade path and pricing for Windows 8: $14.99 for those buying new PCs

We've just gotten a thorough look at the Windows 8 Release Preview, and Microsoft has now also finally confirmed what the upgrade path will look like for those buying PCs before the OS is officially released later this year. Microsoft will be rolling out a Windows Upgrade Offer in no less than 131 markets starting June 2nd, which will let anyone who buys an eligible Windows 7-based PC also purchase a Windows 8 Pro upgrade for $14.99 -- that offer will be valid through January 31th, 2013. Dear Aunt TUAW, Pardon the OCD question here, but I have not been able to find an adequate answer. Every time I purchase an item from Apple, I get an email listing the item and the price I paid. I have hundreds of these emails saved. Is there a tool that will parse them and summarize how much I spent on each app? There are tools that look at what you currently have in your apps folder (which may or may not be all of them) and indicates the current price on the app store (which may or may not be what you paid), but this is not what I am looking for. I would like to extract a full list of what I paid from the return emails. All Apple will suggest is that you tediously click in iTunes through hundreds of receipts, and even then, there is no way to copy (export) the te

A study suggests that AT&T has the fastest 3G network but lacks consistency in connection speed, reports CNN Money. Data from the CarrierCompare app (free, App Store) found the connection offered by Verizon, although half the speed of AT&T, to be far more consistent throughout the day. A beta release of iOS 6 has revealed some details of Apple's testing for the next-generation iPhone, according to a source for 9to5Mac. iOS 6 is currently said to be running Darwin Kernel 13.0.0, one version ahead of OS X Mountain Lion. Daily iPhone App: Bee Leader

Bee Leader is one of the most charming iPhone games I've come across in a long time. It's a pretty simple construction, as you play a large, cute bee flying around in a circular 2D space (similar to the planet setups in Angry Birds Space, actually). You just drag a finger around the screen to fly, and then your flight is timed by a sun going across the screen, and your goal is to grab as much pollen and make as much honey as possible. The whole game is very well put together artistically, from the colorful and well-designed levels to the funny little bees that you can collect as you play the various stages. There's a lot of depth hiding underneath the surface, too. It's not hard to just beat the levels themselves, but it is very hard to get a perfect score, or find and unlock everything hidden in there.

Intel details 14 dual-core Ivy Bridge processors ahead of Computex

Intel announced its quad-core Ivy Bridge processors in April, but we've known that dual-core CPUs must be on the way too. And alas, the chip maker does have some up its sleeve -- 14, to be exact. Noctua developing noise-cancelling PC fan, will demo at Computex

Try as we might to block it out, we just can't stand the whirring of our PC fan when it starts to act up. There may be an end to our cringing, as Austrian company Noctua is gearing up to debut a fan with integrated noise cancellation at Computex.
