YouTube rival secures $34 million

Frances Dailymotion secures $34 million of venture capital in YouTube attackParis-based video sharing site Dailymotion has landed a fresh round of funding to help it compete with US rival YouTube, which has been gaining strength in Europe since it launched local versions of its service in June.
