While attention has been focused on the newly-launched iMacs and iLife '08, Apple quietly upgraded its AirPort Extreme Base Station overnight. The unit now has gigabit LAN and WAN Ethernet ports, but is otherwise functionally identical, having features such as 802.11n and USB device sharing.
