Belkin unveils new Thunderbolt 3 Express Dock designed for Apple’s latest MacBook Pro

From 9to5Toys Following yesterday’s Apple event, accessory makers have begun to roll out add-ons for the new MacBook Pro. Belkin has announced the Thunderbolt 3 Express Dock HD that focuses extensively on USB-C connectivity. Its physical footprint has largely gone unchanged from the previous generation. The new MacBook Pro already has up to four Thunderbolt 3 ports but for those looking for extra connectivity, Belkin offers an all-in-one solution. On the front is a traditional USB-A port and alongside a 3.5mm jack for headphones. The majority of the interface is found on the backside, which includes the following (left to right): gigabit ethernet, audio out, two USB-A 3.0, two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) and DisplayPort. It is powered by a 20V 3.5A supply. On top of 40Gbps transfer speeds, users will be able to daisy chain up to five Thunderbolt devices from this dock alongside support for dual 4K monitors.
