Apple halts sales of iPhone 4s, iPhone 5c in India to raise ASP

Apple is no longer selling two models of iPhone in India, removing both the iPhone 4s and the iPhone 5c from sale in the country from official channels, as well as the regional Apple website. The move, which will leave the iPhone 5s as the entry-level device in the iOS range for the lucrative market, is said by reports to be in response to an overall reduction in the average selling price (ASP) of iPhones that has taken place in the country over the last year.
