Elgato is increasing the size of its HomeKit-enabled smart home device range in the United States, by adding a sensor plug to the collection. The Eve Energy smart plug allows you to remotely turn connected devices on and off, both via the companion app and through vocal commands passed through Siri, with the Bluetooth Smart-equipped unit also able to provide feedback on how much energy the connected appliance or device is consuming while it is active.
