Apple addresses laptop anti-reflective coating issues

Apple has issued an internal notice about a new Quality Program that addresses anti-reflective coating issues on MacBook and MacBook Pro models with Retina displays, reports MacRumors (http://tinyurl.com/ooqqg3z). These issues include the anti-reflective coating on displays sometimes wearing off or delaminating. In a support document (http://tinyurl.com/q57fdnt), Apple says it as determined that a small percentage of MacBook Pro systems may exhibit distorted video, no video, or unexpected system restarts. These MacBook Pro systems were sold between February 2011 and December 2013. read more
