DJI unveils Osmo handheld camera stabilization system

Drone manufacturer DJI has introduced a device that repurposes the stabilization used in its flying machines for more conventional video purposes. The DJI Osmo is a handheld stabilizer that is able to keep the camera on the top steady, which when combined with a smartphone and a 4K camera makes it a cheap way for amateur filmmakers to create smooth, stable shots at a 4K resolution with minimal equipment.
