Briefly: More Apple Pay banks, Pharrell and Cook with Apple Watch

With the addition of another 39 banks and credit unions, Apple now has over 180 institutions supporting its Apple Pay mobile payments system, which is currently exclusive to the iPhone 6 in retail stores, but can also be used online. The iPhone 5s, 5c, and 5 will gain Apple Pay ability at retail when used in conjunction with an Apple Watch, which goes on sale April 24. Nearly all major US banks and CUs now support Apple Pay, though there are some exceptions for some specialized debit and credit cards.
