Today, Nikon announced the addition of new zoom Coolpix P610 and Coolpix L840 cameras to its compact camera lineup. These Coolpix offerings incorporate the latest Nikon imaging technology with Nikkor optics with super-long zoom lenses of 60x and 38x respectively. Also released are the the compact Coolpix S9900, S7000 and S6900 for entry-level shooters.
