FCC Chairman Wheeler formally announces Title II regulation proposal

Officially launching what will become a highly contentious fight in Washington DC, US Federal Communications Commission commissioner Tom Wheeler has officially stated that he is submitting "the strongest open Internet protections ever proposed by the FCC" banning paid prioritization, and the blocking and throttling of lawful content and services.
