Computer upgrade company OWC earlier this week announced a new 1TB OWC 2.5-inch Mercury Electra 6G SATA SSD. The new drive giving 960GB of addressable storage boasts sustained transfer rates of up to 535MB/s read and 443MB/s write, with the company boasting that the drive is specifically engineered for Apple upgrades. The new capacity is available now for $449.
