Netgear Arlo introduced as battery-powered wireless security camera

Netgear has unveiled a wireless security camera, one which dispenses with both network and power cables. Arlo is a battery-powered Wi-Fi-enabled camera system capable of transmitting video from the weatherproof camera at a distance of up to 150 feet away from the base station, with the camera also providing VueZone-style night vision capabilities.
