T-Mobile's iPhone launch affects Android

According to a new report by Kantar Worldpanel analyzing the three month period ending in May,2013 Apple's iOS sales are up 3.5 percent from the same period last year, holding at 41.9 percent of sales. Google's Android system is still selling strongly with a smartphone share of 52 percent, however that number is only up 0.1 percent. Microsoft's Windows Phone sales were up a bit as well, increasing 0.9 percent over the last year to 4.6 percent of market share. Kantar gives credit for the iPhone's sales bump to the device's debut on T-Mobile this past April, which hit stores to strong sales, leading to lines out the door at many T-Mob
