Apple's utility for mass configuration of iOS devices adds "significantly improved" reliability, scalability, and performance, a new status view that includes time estimates and error information with recovery suggestions, the ability to cancel scheduled or in-progress operations, and the ability for administrators to install apps on devices configured not to allow users to install apps.
