Yahoo buys GhostBird Software; dev's apps disappear from App Store

Canada's GhostBird Software is closing its doors following a buyout by Yahoo, and has already pulled its apps from the iOS App Store, according to an announcement. The company says that its workers are being folded into Yahoo's Flickr team. GhostBird is known for a camera app, KitCam, and PhotoForge, an image editor dating back to 2009.
