Yves Behar launches Bluetooth keyed August Smart Lock

Today at the D11 conference, designer Yves Behar and technology entrepreneur Jason Johnson launched August and its flagship product, the August Smart Lock. Through a Bluetooth low energy (BLE) enabled locking mechanism and a mobile application, August allows users to send a virtual key to anyone to allow access to a home.
