WSJ: New iPhone production starting in Q2; low-cost model coming

Apple is starting production of a new iPhone "similar in size and shape to its current one" sometime during the current quarter, according to the Wall Street Journal. The paper cites "people familiar with the device's production," and suggests that the new phone could ship as soon as this summer. The iPhone 5 and 4S both launched in fall windows, but every other iPhone has shipped in June or July.
