Facebook has promoted the VP of engineering, Mike Schroepfer to the company's previously unoccupied position of chief technical officer on Friday according to a report from the company. "Mike Schroepferís new designation as Facebookís CTO reflects the unique and important role he plays across the company," Tucker Bounds, a spokesman for Facebook wrote.
