In a ruling minutes ago out of San Francisco, Judge Lucy Koh ordered $440 million in damages payable to Apple set aside from the landmark smartphone trial's damages applied against Samsung. According to reports, the whole trial will not need to be repeated, but the damages portion will have to be redone on some devices. More information to follow.
