Although it was launched in the US nearly one year ago, the Apple TV is just now officially being launched in India. As ThinkDigit reports, the Apple TV can now be found on Apple's India website listed under the iPod section. The media stream box retails for Rs. 7900, or about $146 and competes with a number of other HD media players in the Indian market including the WD Live HD, Asus O! Play Mini and the Amkette Flash TV HD.
