Potentially casting some doubt on the recent reports of Apple cutting component orders, market research firm ChangeWave Research has found that 50 percent of people planning on buying a smart phone in the next three months say that they will buy an Apple iPhone, in line with expected trends in the months following a new release by the Cupertino manufacturer. At the same time, with no new immediate release, 21 percent of those surveyed are planning on buying a Samsung smartphone.
