The email security plug-in for Thunderbird adds support for Thunderbird 17 and up (and SeaMonkey 2.16 and up), a complete rewrite of PGP/MIME encryption and signing in JavaScript, and a JavaScript rewrite of core parts of inline-PGP (creation, decryption and verification).
