A new report from 9to5Mac has indicated that Apple will begin offering a new perk dubbed "App Discovery" to its retail employees. While Apple has previously offered retail employees free access to its own paid apps, the new perk extends the bonus to a catalogue of popular apps from third party developers. Reports also indicate that this may be a temporary holiday promotion that will not remain in place forever. Update: MacNN has received confirmation from an Apple Retail employee that the perk is indeed being offered to all retail staff.
