Apple says it will stop ebook price fixing in Europe

In a move that looks hopeful for the American market, Apple has vowed to stop fixing ebook prices in Europe, Macworld reports. As part of the agreement, Apple will terminate the agency-pricing agreements with the five companies involved in the European antitrust suit: Hachette Livre, Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster, Penguin and MacMillan.
