Twitter iOS app gets iPad, photo-oriented enhancements

Twitter has released a major update of its iOS app, v5.0. The software concentrates mainly on improving the iPad interface, for example by adding a landscape view, and offering in-line expanded views of tweets that can present photos, videos, and webpages without automatically having to jump into another app. The app's design has, typically, been heavily iPhone-centric.
