The new Firefox release addresses 16 security issues (seven critical) and brings silent background updates, support for SPDY networking protocol v3, WebGL enhancements, optimized memory use for add-ons, integration of JavaScript debugger into developer tools, a layout view in the Inspector in developer tools, a developer tool to switch between desktop and mobile views of sites, HTML5 support for the Opus audio codec, and other changes.
