Apple rejects iPhone app that tracks military drone strikes

Apple has a reputation for sometimes banning apps for reasons that confound developers. The latest App Store rejection story comes from Wired, which talked to developer Josh Begley about his Drones+ app. Drones+ is a simple, but informative app that alerts you when the US military executes a strategic strike using a drone. The information is pulled from a publicly available database maintained by the UK's Bureau of Investigative Journalism. Each strike is logged in the app and marked by a pushpin on a map.
