Skype for Mac 5.8 gets Mountain Lion support, slim contacts

VoIP service Skype has released a new version of its Mac client, 5.8. One of the main additions is support for OS X Mountain Lion, which is set to be launched next month. The company has also responded to complaints and re-introduced the slim contact list, which can be resized and repositioned as necessary.
