Facebook Android, iOS apps vulnerable to identity theft?

An app developer claims to have uncovered a significant security vulnerability in Facebook's native apps for Android and iOS devices. The apps for both platforms are said to leave user login details unprotected, enabling attackers to gain access to Facebook accounts or any other apps that allow Facebook login.
