Nearly four years after it was first announced, and a remarkable 12 years after the previous sequel, Blizzard has announced that Diablo III will now ship on May 15th for both Mac and Windows. Pre-orders are now open on Blizzard's Battle.net site. The game will be localized for 11 languages on launch and is set 20 years after the events of Diablo II, in the town of Tristam, the location of the original Diablo.
