Despite ongoing lawsuits, Apple may only be increasing its orders from Samsung if rumors coming from an Apple supplier in South Korea are accurate. Samsung's part orders from Apple were said by The Korea Times to be jumping from $7.8 billion in 2011 to at least $9.7 billion, possibly going up to $11 billion depending on demand. Processor assembly for new iPads, along with usually high demand for flash memory across most of Apple's lineup, would be key motivators.
