Nokia has posted its financial results (pdf) revealing better than expected results. The Finnish company reports that it has sold ëwell overí 1 million Windows Phone-based smartphones in combined sales of the Lumia 710 and the Lumia 800. However, while its core earnings beat market consensus, they were still down 73 percent as it sold less Symbian-based smartphones than it had forecast.
