Twitter buys Summify news service

Summify confirmed Thursday that it had been bought by Twitter. The move will give Twitter access to aggregated news from users' Twitter feeds, which Summify streamlined in daily e-mail. It warned that the service would gradually ramp down before being closed as the team moves to San Francisco.
