In what might be seen as a portent of worldwide sales, figures from a British research firm obtained by the Financial Times indicates that the iPhone 4S is dominating the market for smartphones in the UK, making up 25 percent of all smartphone sales in the four weeks leading up to December 9th. Combined with the other iPhone models, Apple's phones made up 37 percent of all smartphone sales.
