Just making its last-minute deadlines, Orbotix has started shipping the first wave of Sphero toys to early pre-orders. The $130 ball we first tried in January will support both Android and iOS devices on launch. The promised inductive charging cradle will make it, as will the built-in Blox, Chromo, Draw 'N Drive, Drive, Golf, and SpheroCam apps.
