Murmurs from builders suggest PC demand for holidays weak

New assertions from contract PC builders and their individual component makers suggested Thursday that holiday sales of at least Windows PCs won't be as strong as expected. They told Digitimes that shipments from November were likely to have been flat or to have dropped slightly versus October, even in the height of holiday shipments.
