Trick supposedly provides 'easy' iPhone 4S SIM unlock

A new guide claims to have found a way to fool a GSM-based iPhone 4S into an unlock. The somewhat complex technique from Daniel Caleb involves making and dropping a 611 call with the original carrier SIM, switching Wi-Fi off and then Airplane Mode on, followed by a well-time reboot. After briefly removing the SIM following an activation prompt, reinserting it reportedly allows using the new SIM and possibly any SIM.
