iCloud inaccessible for some users

Apple, and users, warned Friday that iCloud services were facing a partial failure. Some, though not all, users either couldn't connect or were getting unusual login prompts. No explanation or timeframe for a fix was available other than "ASAP," according to Apple's status page.
