Samsung exec Kim jumps to Microsoft to head up Windows Phone

Microsoft's determination to retake its position in smartphones came to a head Monday after it poached Samsung's consumer and enterprise services VP Gavin Kim. The executive confirmed in talking to BGR that he would be the general manager of the Windows Phone team. The move would see him "set the future direction" for the mobile OS.
