A Panasonic promo page (video below) has inadvertently tipped the company's hand for the launch of the Lumix GX1. As hinted, the camera should be a return to more professional-like control for Panasonic's smallest Micro Four Thirds body with a thumb wheel and other customizable controls. It will be the first compact MFT camera from the company with an upgraded sensor, likely taking the 16-megapixel sensor from the G3, and a likely updated Venus image processor.
