Apple Stores prepping for delayed launch of self-checkout

Apple is on the verge of rolling out its app-based self-checkout system at retail, a photo from a 9to5Mac source suggests. The image depicts a Speck iPhone case on a rack, with a sign promoting a consumer version of EasyPay, the checkout system Apple clerks use. "Use the Apple Store App on your iPhone to pay for these products on your own," the message reads.
