General iPhone 4S shipments start

Following early Sprint shipments, Apple has started shipping the iPhone 4S for more of its American users. Readers on AT&T and Verizon are also now getting shipping notices. Early orders are still due to arrive by October 14, although the iPhone 4 did ship early last year, albeit unactivated.
