A company called Iximix has debuted an iOS app for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch -- TrakPro DJ -- that allows DJs to control Native Instruments' Traktor Pro software in a much more tactile fashion than is possible on a computer. The software, compatible with both Mac and Windows versions, re-casts the Traktor controls as touch controls with extremely low latency (1-3ms) and connected via Coremidi networking technology to ensure an instantaneous response. The iOS versions can presently handle two decks, and also features mix, EQ and effects controls.
