Archos in a presentation caught late this past week has confirmed that it would ship its Gen 9 (ninth generaiton) tablets in June. The designs would theoretically be some of the fastest with a dual-core, 1.6GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor inside. The speed would put Archos at the "forefront" of performance over the 900MHz to 1GHz chips in the iPad 2 and the Xoom, Le Journal du Geek saw in its view of the presentation.
